i'ts so inspiring to see new life... even it's from animals... ^_^ [[my sister's hamster (an ren) gave birth on june 24 to her 1st 8 hamsterlings? (is there such word? =P) ]] anyway... here are some pics and a quick video of the new borns...
and because there's new life between hai nuo and an ren... they decided to buy a new home for them...

woke up early even though it's a saturday today... =(
went to bulacan to have our dental check-up, after that we were supposed to go to sm bulacan to buy my books at national bookstore... but papa changed his mind and just drove home...
on our way... (it was raining hard). i saw little children running, playing and bathing as well... funny that i also saw grown ups enjoying the cold water that the sky was pouring... i also saw a taxi driver taking advantage of the rain and washed his cab... LoLs... =P ...seeing them made me remember the 1st and last time that i played under the rain with my cousins (childhood memories)... seeing them enjoying the presence of the cold rain made me smile, it made me happy that even for a while they, including me, forgot all their problems and worries in life. it's like, the rain washed them all out of their system...
funny that some people hates rain... i can't blame them though, because rain does not only give life but destruction, sickness and death as well...
on our route to cartimar, i saw a homeless man with 3 dogs... he lives on the sidewalk near the lrt station. i saw him put his umbrella on the floor to cover his dogs from the rain... and then it strucked me. why on earth will he choose to save his dogs rather than save himself from getting sick?! ...this scene proved me that there are still people who have selfless love, who cares and who, still, are willing to help inspite of their misfortunes.
and oh! by the way this day is St. John the Baptist's day... so i was just pondering about the idea that God intended it to rain this day to give us luck and maybe cleanse us from sins... =P

ok, got it... my blog's weekly dose coming right up... =D =P
let's start... on June 18, 2006..., that's a sunday, we (my family) went to mall of asia to window shop and or to shop with my aunt and cuz jessie... when we arrived there, our first stop was a chinese restaurant (mini shabu shabu) but since the place was full and we still have to wait we went looking for somewhere else to eat... but unfortunately, as we all know... mall of asia is packed with tons and tons and tons of people that's why we have a hard time looking for an empty restaurant, and to tell you... we did not succeeded in doing so. that's why when we spotted Oki Oki, a japanese reastaurant, we hurriedly signed up on the waiting list... at least we're on number 3 unlike when we're on shabu shabu... had to be the 5th... argh... so there...after eating, we went strolling... i, hoping to shop was a bit disappointed because we ended up watching 'the omen'... at the ticket booth, i managed to see kenneth there (or is it the other way around =P LoLs...) then after the movie, i went to national bookstore to buy the books that i'll be needing for algebra, philosophy, and filipino... the bookstore was big!, but the books are all messy... i think they should give discounts 'cause the books are already "gutay-gutay" ... plus they don't have the books that i'm looking for... shit... (magsara na lang kaya kayo?!!!)
and because i really need those books, i went to power books... but i've only got the required book in philosophy "sophie's world"... then... julio saw me... waw... bedans are all over mall of asia... LoLs... =P *sigh* bookstores are shits... hate them... made me go in circles just to find 1 book!!! grr... after buying that book, we looked again for a restaurant for dinner... to my dismay, we have to eat at max... (i hate chicken!!!) =(anyway, here are some snapshots that day... =D
June 20, 2006 (monday)
and again, need to wake up early because it's a monday, and as we all know, we have to start a monday right to have our whole week good... nothin' much on this day... just discussions and our 1st lab experiment =)June 21,2006 (tuesday)
our 1st p.e. session... =) i never thought that exercise would be that refreshing =P done warm up, stretchings, sit ups, push ups and cool down... =D next was algebra... discussion as usual and a reminder for a quiz on thursday... same goes with our filipino class... *waa..* last subject was art appreciation... our prof just discussed about our group reporting next week... our group was assigned to research about that classical ek ek... June 22, 2006 (wednesday)
class discussions as usual... then reminders for assignments and quizzes in english, philosophy on friday... June 23, 2006 (thursday) woke up at 9 a.m. reached school at 'round 10:30... 1st class was algebra... wow! i was really ready for the quiz... LoLs... next was filipino... i just don't know if i passed that quiz 'cause i totally mixed my answers up... grr.. hate it! LoLs... lastly... art appreciation... we didn't know that she will give us a surprise quiz, luckily, it's quite easy... so, no prob! =Pi was dismissed early and we dropped by at BEDA to fetch my younger sister... when we were buying at the canteen beside the main gate, we saw mr. ID man buying pizza at jimini's... (no ID no entry!!! ) =Pcandid nursing students at SISC... (just some of my new friends =D )
and for today, June 23, 2006 (friday)
today was lei's birthday... we have this surprise birthday celebration for her, thanks to izzy (izzy big?!? =P LoLs...) we made lei's day extra special though she said that she hates surprises, but love this one... ^_^
HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY LEI!!! love yah girl... to tell you honestly, i totally forgot that today was your big day that's why when i saw you at the rest room i just said hi... super sorry lei... but, i really wish you all the best girl!!! mwuah!!!
anyway... 1st class was english, we have a pass the message activity... and lucky me to have to write that long message down... grrr... i can still recall it...

next was chemistry... nothin' much... just pure discussions about the atomic theory blah blah... =P
thirdly... philosophy... 1st quiz... there were 4 questions... 1st question was worth 40 pts., 2nd was fror 30, and the 3rd and 4th was for 10 pts. ... he told us that the passing was 50 pts. so we need not answer it all... but poor me to forgot the answers for question 4... luckily, he gave 10 bonus questions... but then again... poor me... i think i've only got only 4 to 5 correct answers there... *sigh*... better luck next time diana! LoLs... =P
IC1 was next before or break... we just have to answer surveys for our evaluation of out study habits, or something like that... =P
NSTP was our last subject for this week... it was fun 'cause we all have a comercial to endorse our group's positive attribute... our group (bea, althea, karz, and i) made the 1st day high rexona comercial to promote our confidence in sharing our talents to others... =P it goes like this...

we stopped by at BEDA *again!!* to fetch my younger sister and luckily... i saw noel, nick, and patty... (long time no see guys... miss you all =P )

whew... i totally survived the 1st week... i dunno how long can i hang on... LoLs... =P think my blog will be updated weekly because of my sched, and of course! need to do advance reading and stuff like that to help me get a high grade... as my profs always says... "AIM HIGH" =) love them all... except for one... argh... can't imagine that our class will be dealing with him this 1st sem. goodness!!! god help us...anyway... i'll try to refresh my memory... here goes...on our 1st day, that is on... JUNE 13, 2006... we had our regular classes. it's a tuesday so 1st class was P.E. at gym2 ... we have our 1 hr. break... i together with eva, clarissa, fran, pauline and adrian went to select to buy some food then dropped by to belle essentials to follow-up pauline and clarissa's uniforms...next class was algebra at room 204... we had a getting to know activity then another 1 hr. break, next was filipino at room 205... our prof discussed 'bout what he wants and what he hates, grading system then the getting to know stuff... and our last class was art appreciation... our prof came late so we really have fun time with small chit-chats... there came the talk about what our section will be called... izzy was thinkin' 'bout la salle have green archers, san beda have red lion etc. etc. ... then izzy thought of purple talong... why purple talong? i dunno it just popped out of his mouth... LoLs... love yah izzy... =P we were dismissed early since it's our 1st day... i arrived home at around 5:30 p.m. ... i felt really tired so i was able to sleep early... unfortunately, i woke up at 8 and wasn't able to sleep again... that's why i was so wasted the next day... LoLs... =PJUNE 14, 2006 was our orientation at gym2... we met the student council members, guidance councilors and the very friendly facilitators... it was fun... lot's of getting to know our co-freshies, played human bingo, answered some survey, and the almighty campus tour before lunch... grrr... =P after luch we went to gym1 for the general assembly... we watched the awarding of the dean's listers, the SISC uniform fashion show, SISC dance troup and some remiders... oh, by the way... arnee hidalgo sang... i never knew that she was studying in SISC, what more?! she's the top student there... waw... she's really great... with a good singing voice and a brain, she'll definitely go a long way... =) after the program... went home... ate the forced myslef not to sleep so that i'll have a good night rest... and luckily i did... ^_^JUNE 15, 2006... no P.E. class on that day so i went to school at 11:00... took up the same subjects as june 13's... except that we already have homeworks... one in algebra and another in filipino... since i promised joy that i will go with her to southmall, i did as i promise... we went shopping for her books, school shoes, and bag... then papa just fetched us there... when i arrived home, i told myself to start doing my homework so as to establish a good habit... (the all new improved me) [[hope that tis will last up to my 4th yr.]] LoLs... =Pand today... JUNE 16, 2006... we met our english, chem, philosophy, and NSTP profs and have a lot of getting to know each other again!!! poor us to have one prof that seems to dislike happy people... 
...haii... guess who??! i'm not telling you... only 1A or the purple talong knows about this...hahaha... =P we were dismissed early by our NSTP prof... instead of 4:00 p.m. we were dismissed at around 2:00 p.m. ... lucky lucky... rainy season came a bit early i think... <<< (wala lang to) LoLs... =Panyway... so far so good... nothing can harm us yet... hope that it'll remain like that... =P

OMG!!! tomorrow will be my first day as a college student... oh NO!!! =( to be honest... i'm not yet ready for these big changes that will happen... messy scheds, busy days because of reviewing, profs that i dunno if they are good or mean, 1 subject=full load of assignments... argh... i can't imagine what's next...good luck for me... hahaha... hoping that i'll do good on my 1st day... LoLs...anyway... some of my batchmates are now in their dorms and ready for class tomorrow... good luck to you guys!! ^_~ we'll miss you...*sigh*... 1st day tomorrow... huhuhu...oh and by the way... belated happy father's day to all dads around the world... and... since it's june 12 today... *sigh*... just got home from batangas (my ai lily's home)... gash... i got so dizzy and tired...anyway... my day goes like this... we went to batangas to drop ai lily to her home... had our lunch there 'cause ate mercy's cooking is way better than mama's =P then after that, they decided to go to lipa's market... waw... can't believe that there's so many people there, still buying even though it's already late in the afternoon... i got dizzy because of the heat and too much people... now i know what a real market looks like... different kinds of buyers, busy vendors, fresh meat, fish, fruits and veggies, wet floors, flies that almost outnumbered the people there =P and that awful smell that only a market has... after going home, my two cute, little cousins pulled ai to a store which sells chicks... poor ai... she was forced to buy 5 cute chicks... hahaha... =Pthen when we arrived at ai's home, kim (my 10 yr. old cousin) hurriedly changed his clothes to his basketball uniform 'cause he told me that they have a game at exact 4 in the afternoon... ai and kathy went to see the game, and as for me... i took a nap 'cause of this headache of mine... LoLs... =P after the game, they went home for dinner, sadly my cousin's team lost... oh well... it's ok, still young to beat kids 2-3 yrs. older than him... ^_^after that we went home, dropping ai lily and tito bernard to a bus station ('cause they will be going to bulacan) and again... because of the bumpy roads (damn! government should fix the roads!!)... headache comes and stay again with me... grrr...change topic... school will be starting on tuesday, june 13... thinking 'bout wearing civillian clothes on our 1st day... *sigh*... still wishing that vacation can be extended... LoLs... luckily... i know some bedan batchmates who enrolled on the same course... and i am super lucky to have some as my classmates... they are... michael, chari, eva, clarissa, and fran... unfortunately joy will not be my classmate since she is a late enrollee... but good for her to have the chance to choose what section she wants to belong to... she chose c where melo was in... lucky her!!! hahaha... =Pstill not excited for school... but what can i do?! whether we like it or not, it's time to say hello to college... =P

woke up at 'round 9 a.m. (slept at 3:26 a.m. meaning... i just got 5 hours and 34 mins.)... LoLs... so yun nga... woke up at 9 a.m. to get my section and schedule... i have to ask for my section at the registrar's and the scheds were posted at the registrar's office window...because i enrolled early, i was grouped in section 1A... i read my sched and arranged it... goodness!!! i've only got 30 mins. break every monday!!! *sigh* (oh i missed something! it was written on the upper left corner... "TENTATIVE") waw... swerte pa rin... =Pafter getting my sched... we went to sm sucat to buy some stuff... unfortunately, on our way home... it rained cats and dogs... papa got angry... he said: "anu ba naman yan! ang hirap hirap mag punas ng kotse eh!!!"... and true enough... it's really hard... especially it's a suv that he's cleaning... so i decided to help him wipe the car clean ^_~ wuhoo!!! i did it!!! i actually did it... (isipin niyo... si diana, na maliit, nagpupunas ng ford everest... nakakatawa diba?! hahaha... ) Realization for this day...***it's really hard to clean the tires... hahaha... =P

waw... june 6, 2006 / 06-06-06 or what we call the day of the devil is now over... and now i know that there's nothing to be scared of! it's just a date, a mere coincidence of the numbers falling to the exact number of the devil...it's quite funny though that, that same day was the 1st anniversary of the hello garci scandal... goodness... they even tried to link it to 06-06-06... hahaha... =Palso... there is a date movie entitle the omen which was premiered on that same day... i saw it's trailer when we watched x-men... and then i said to myself that i will not watch that movie... it just scares me because i do believe that it's evil... hahaha... (hai diana!! umiral na naman yung kaduwagan mo! it's just a movie!! *doink*) LoLs... =P

waa... improving or not... shit! i can wake up early but just can't sleep before 12!!! hate it!!! it's killing me... lalaki eye bags ko nito eh... grrr... i look older now 'cause i don't have enough rest... hai... and not to mention malapit na pasukan... grr... well enough 'bout my complaints... LoLs... =P my younger sister just started her first day as a 3rd yr. hs student... and as for me... the day that i dreaded is one week away... o gash... pls. help me... sana hindi nakaka-takot sa college... LoLs... diana, as if may monster doon noh?!!! hahaha... weird me... =Panyway... kainis lang ah.. cause they told me na sa 19 pa pasukan, tapos kanina tumawag ako... 13 na daw... oh well... my lucky days are over... june 13 will be our 1st day of class... then 14 will be our orientation... shit! i thought orientation should go 1st... weird ey... hahaha... think i'll just get my section and sched. tomorrow... hai...

wuhoo...i'm improving!!! i really woke up early this day (6:00 a.m.)... and luckily, we were able to go to bulacan to have our weekly checkup... (actually twice a month check-up na lang) waa!!! LoLs...anyway... after our check-up, we went to laloma to visit my dad's uncle and aunt... but we didn't stay too long there since we have somewhere else to go to... next stop... valenzuela, to our former home... =P we went to visit my uncle... kwento kwento... after that we left since it's gonna rain... really have to cut our conversation (bahain kasi doon... kaya ayun... napilitan) ... LoLs... i'm looking forward to our next visit... =Pon our way home... we stopped at tasty dumplings sa may quezon city... to have our lunch... (lipas na talaga sa oras) =P tapos nun uwi na kami... ^_^what a busy day... (busy daw?!!) hahaha.... =P

FROGS:
Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs...
who arranged a running competition. The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower. A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants.... The race began....
Honestly: No one in crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower. You heard statements such as: "Oh, WAY too difficult!!" "They will NEVER make it to the top." or: "Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!"
The tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one.... Except for those, who in a fresh tempo, were climbing higher and higher....
The crowd continued to yell, "It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!"
More tiny frogs got tired and gave up....
But ONE continued higher and higher and higher.... This one wouldn't give up!
At the end everyone else had given up climbing the tower. Except for the one tiny frog who, after a big effort, was the only one who reached the top!
THEN all of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this one frog managed to do it? A contestant asked the tiny frog how he had found the strength to succeed and reach the goal? It turned out.... That the winner was DEAF!!!!
The wisdom of this story is:
Never listen to other people's tendencies to be negative or pessimistic.... because they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you -- the ones you have in your heart! Always think of the power words have. Because everything you hear and read will affect your actions!
Therefore: ALWAYS be....POSITIVE!
And above all: Be DEAF when people tell YOU that you cannot fulfill your dreams!
Always think: God and I can do this!
